Many victims of the massive flooding in Pakistan have been isolated and unable to receive aid. This is changing though as the UN World Food Programme (WFP) completed an airlift on Thursday to reach communities in the Swat Valley in northern Pakistan.
WFP reports that "The first three missions touched down in the town of Kalam carrying over seven metric tons of food—enough to feed 2,500 people for a week."
